InStep is in early beta. Features, information and availability may change. You can use Demo Mode without an account, or create an account to save your own family’s information.

InStep helps organise and explain education information. It does not replace your school, a regulator, professional advice, or health, legal or safeguarding services. It is not a government service, exam board or assessment provider.

School policies, dates, qualification requirements and provider guidance can change. Before acting on an important date or decision, check the original school, provider or official source shown.

Add only first names, year groups and school information you have the right to share. Do not submit confidential school records or sensitive personal data. You are responsible for who you share family access with.

Some explanations are generated with AI using the context available to InStep. AI can make mistakes. Source information remains authoritative over the generated explanation.

Do not attempt to misuse the service, bypass security controls, introduce malicious content or interfere with other users’ access.

During the beta InStep is provided as available and may be changed or withdrawn. You can delete your family or account from Settings at any time.
